  • 1959 – Plant opened under the name Poultry

           Products with 75 employees

  • 1960 – Plant sold to Armour and Company
  • 1961 – Plant sold to Allied Mills, Inc. and was

           named Wayne Farms

  • 1963 – Plant expanded into individually frozen (IF)

           products

  • 1982 – Plant shut down IF line, converted to whole

           bird chilled pack

  • 1995 – Changed from chill-pack to deboning operation
  • 1996 - Plant implemented MSC operation
