Wayne Farms LLC Cuts Production
OAKWOOD, Ga. (June 23, 2008) – Following an initial two percent (2%) reduction back in April, Wayne Farms LLC announced today that it will cut production of its poultry operations by an additional six percent (6%). Citing the continual rise of grain markets causing an unprecedented increase in raw material costs, the company has scaled back operations.

UNION SPRINGS, Ala. (May 30, 2008) –Wayne Farms LLC’s Union Springs facility has wrapped up another successful year of support for the American Cancer Society by raising $12,257 and capturing the area’s top fundraising spot for 2008. The company’s team, 35 members strong, concluded their fundraising efforts at the May 9 Relay for Life event at Conecuh Springs Christian School in Union Springs.
