DANVILLE, AR. (April 2021) – Dogs are wagging their tails in Yell County today after Wayne Farms Danville Complex team members raised $1,000 to support local animal rescue organization Furry Tails. Employees rallied together to donate the cash in support of the no-kill animal rescue group, which provides temporary and permanent homes, veterinary care and food for unwanted or abandoned canines.
The March 1-12 fundraiser involved employees across the operation from processing to live operations, proving once again that the Wayne Farms employee mantra “Amazing starts with me” applies to them. “Most of us are from the local area and have dogs or grew up around dogs as pets, and we appreciate the work that Furry Tails does,” said Danville Complex Manager Toby Tapp. “We’ve got a heart for animals that need help too, so we just wanted to do our part.”
